Ameritas College of Brandman University

Ameritas College of Brandman University celebrated its grand opening at Brandman University’s Palm Desert campus with a ribbon cutting ceremony on Thursday, September 20. It was an honor to be around such a distinguished group of business and community leaders dedicated to making Hispanics’ higher education attainment a priority.
Participating in the ceremony were City of Palm Desert City Manager John Wohlmuth, County of Riverside Supervisor John Benoit, Brandman University Chancellor Gary Brahm, Ameritas College Educational Services, LLC Board Chair Sara Martinez Tucker, and keynote speaker Guillermo Chavez, Principal of Cathedral City High School, as well as all the other local and state dignitaries.
We are proud to say that Ameritas College is on track to help working Hispanic adults break the cycle of under-education and gain the preparation to effectively compete in a multicultural workforce. Here at Ameritas College we are making a difference. We are making a college degree accessible through a combination of a dual language platform and an outstanding team of leaders experienced in serving the unique needs of Hispanic students. Whether it is a working adult wanting to advance his career or an employer wanting to develop and strengthen its workforce, Ameritas College brings a much needed educational option to our rapidly growing Hispanic community.
We recognize that if everyone joins together in service of a powerful idea – the idea that education is not only the key to personal success, but the impetus for economic development, we can make a difference. So let’s make a difference!
