America Will Become What we decide to Be

Getting a perspective of the unfolding America is difficult, with so many citizens afflicted by short term memory. Politicians have taken note. What happened two months ago is irrelevant. What happened two years ago deserves to be in historical archives. As an administration mouthpiece, Obama defender said when asked about Benghazi, “Dude, that was two years ago”. Over half of our population has no concept of where we have been and half of our country is on auto pilot set by the political left.
We no longer recall America conquered space, went to the moon and established the first space station. We can no longer reach the space station without asking our antagonists Russia or China for a ride. We give financial aid to the world while we borrow the money from China. We give away our lunch money to questionable characters around the world. In war, walking away is now considered winning. In five short years we have rounded the corner from a people centric society to a government centric society. In layman’s terms, we have rounded the corner into socialism but over 50% of our population will not believe it. These are the same people who truly believe tamales are an indication of an advanced culture and would authorize millions of dollars to pull out corn husks from ancient dump sites.
Our Democrat politicians in power believe a lie can become the truth, a wrong can become a right and an evil can become a good by having the majority accept it as such. This is their political strategy we are confronted with daily. “That is my story and I am sticking to it“is more than a song, it is this administrations code of honor with every intent to carrying it over with the next election.
Whatever happens, we must remember no one can take America from your soul, the vision of freedom from your eyes, the passion for our country from your heart. Those are yours forever but we must protect them from the insidious foes within who would strip these from you. Every day we see examples of something George Orwell said, “The further a society drifts from the truth, the more it will hate those that speak it”. As Americans, we are baffled on how to proceed. Many heretofore supporters of this administration now chose to be warriors and challenge the status quo but find they are battling demons within themselves. They are confronted by those in chains who revere their chains and encourage you daily to keep yours on. Let me remind you, your strength reminds them of their weakness.
We have not learned to not listen to what a politician is saying, we must observe his consequent actions. Foreign leaders have this observation mastered. That is why we will get nowhere with Russia/Putin. He reads Obama like a book. Red lines have no meaning, We support Israel uttered by Obama has no merit beyond words, we have secured our borders, we have Al Qaida on the run, there is not a smidgeon of corruption at the IRS, the Benghazi terror attack was caused by a video; examples of contrary action is everywhere.
As sad as it may be, we have come to a point in our foreign relations where we must exert the Al Capone code for survival:
“Don’t mistake my kindness for weakness. I am kind to everyone, but when someone is unkind to me, weak is not what you are going to remember about me”. For my part I can relate these very words to what Israel has to exhort to. While this administration waffles, America must stand by the only democracy and ally in the Middle East. For all Christians out there just keep remembering, your savior Jesus Christ was a Jew!
