¿Cuál es la diferencia entre un médico, un abogado, un ingeniero y un periodista?
El médico cura, el abogado litiga, el ingeniero construye, es decir que las personas dejan en manos de estos profesionales la solución de sus problemas, en cambio el periodista no brinda soluciones, el buen periodista ayuda a pensar, es decir que la profesión de periodista es de comunicar lo que ocurre a nuestro alrededor y como esto influenciara en nuestras vidas.
Los periodistas somos como niños en la edad del ¿por qué?, la obligación del periodista es preguntar, pensar, analizar, buscar la verdad, no importa a quien ataque o defienda, no importa para dónde va el pensamiento colectivo, no importa que crea la mayoría, no importa quien gobierne o a quién critica, no importa sus intereses personales.
El periodismo es una profesión de curiosos, de cuestionadores, de comunicadores, de aquellos que no creen en las respuestas rápidas, en las soluciones fáciles, en las historias elaboradas de acuerdo a quien las dice y a quien las escucha, por eso el poder del periodismo es temido, por eso el periodista verdadero es criticado, tratando de acallar las verdades que descubre y que publica.
