A Caricature of America

A Caricature of America

“That’s not who we are”. Obama in a spontaneous moment of truth blurted out what subconsciously millions of Americans were beginning to experience. We are no longer the beacon of freedom, with the mightiest armed forces in the world nor the safest land from anti social, religious bigoted morons. We have become patsies for a political party too engulfed in self to consider the welfare of a nation. We became yes men to sycophant politicians who believe turning the other cheek is actually a defensive strategy. We have lost sight of the freedoms which have been replaced with hyperbole and outright lies. Our past leadership placed us on the slippery slope of socialism, Muslim extremism, anti-God sentiments, anti-law enforcement world wide divisiveness , social welfare and worst of all the Obama political leadership robbed the population of the inherent sense of self. A sense of self which comes coupled with and is essential to recall who we were. Even staunch Democrats now acknowledge about Obama, “we miss the person we thought he was”.
The tragedy for America is not that it is slowly being destroyed by our own leadership, it is we as the keepers of the force for freedom are allowing it to be destroyed. Rebuttals with a well planted series of lies has become not only acceptable, it has become respectably expected.
The Republicans are experiencing a venture into leadership and control of all three houses. Republicans despite the fact they have control are fumbling with the remote unable to decide which channel their core constituents want. As a consequence, at least 40 Republicans, including high ranking leadership keep their ties with the Democrats. Conservative Freedom Caucus Republicans are much more concerned with winning for their little clique than grabbing the reins of leadership and stirring in particular, Obama-Care onto a more feasible, amendable position Republicans would control.
In today’s political skulduggery aimed at redefining truth, the FBI Director Comey was brought in to testify before the Judicial Intel committee to clarify what the FBI knows and when did it know it. Not surprisingly, Comey has not changed his approach towards clarity. Comey is adamant in stating any question he is asked in regards to any topic under investigation is off limits and he cannot answer. Bringing Comey in to testify has proven to be, a waste of time and only allows for political partisans on the committee to espouse their entrenched position over and over again.
Trumps admonition to drain the swamp is so far falling on deaf ears. This is to be expected among Democrats but the weakness exhibited daily among Republican politicians is baffling. The greatest response generated through questioning of Comey was “I couldn’t say”.
The American electorate has become incidental to real transformation. Comeys non Chalante response to the question” do you think foreign entities are capable of tapping into FBI or NSA files”? Answer: “ it is almost a certainty”. The electorate who supports change to “Make America Great Again”, needs to understand the Obama administration had eight years to solidify their Socialist, do nothing foreign policies. Trump will need much more time than 100 days to turn around our American ship. When the Republican crew aboard the Make America Great Again agenda can come together, put petty differences aside and begin to work for our nation, not exclusively the party, we will begin our long journey towards earning the respect of lost allies, long time foreign policy partners and millions around the world who saw the United States as the beacon to freedom.
We as a nation, for eight years have been subjected to “Systemic Manipulation” by forces intent on driving us closer to Socialism. Forces inside our midst, brought about by the previous administration and still within our government. Perhaps we are waking up to find what we have been witnessing within our nation is Systemic Abuse. The liberal progressive agenda has become unapologetically aggressive. There are no longer moral grounds on which to resist. One day we will wake and realize there are things you cannot search for and find, you can only gain and appreciate.
